Laser Scanner for throughput measuring on conveyor belts
The BULKSCAN system is used for contact-free, continuous recording of the volume of bulk goods on conveyor belts. It is based on the principle of laser beam transit time measurement. Due to the robust housing the measuring system is also suitable for extreme operating conditions.
Applications
The measuring system can be used for various control, regulation and accounting tasks, for example:
  • Monitoring of transport equipment in open-cast mines
  • Ash removal in power stations
  • Loading control for means of transportation such as lorries, ships and train wagons
  • Volume and mass measurement in gravel works and other plants of the building materials industry
