Object
The object of these General Terms and Conditions shall be to outline the contractual requirements when registering for seminars, workshops or trainings – hereinafter jointly referred to as „Training“- offered and accomplished by SICK MAIHAK.

Registration
Trainings offered by SICK MAIHAK on the internet or flyers shall not be binding. Registration forms sent by participants in order to register for Trainings shall be binding. Since the number of participants is usually limited, participants shall register as early as possible. Registrations received shall be accepted and processed in chronological order, each according to the receipt date up to the maximum number of participants.
Participants shall be informed 14 days prior to the start of a Training at the latest on the fact whether the minimum number of participants has been reached, or whether registration has been denied. A Training contract shall become effective upon SICK MAIHAK sending a confirmation.
Training descriptions shall comply with the according status at the time of printing. Any modifications due to Trainings being updated or re-developed shall be subject to SICK MAIHAK.

Dates
In case any Training is cancelled by SICK MAIHAK due to good cause, or is postponed, participants shall be reimbursed in case they have already settled fees and/or any hotel expenditures spent. Such provisions shall apply solely and exclusively subject to the precondition that the according hotel room cancellation has been effected upon Training postponement in writing and without undue delay. Any further claims vis-à-vis SICK MAIHAK shall be excluded.

Minimum Number of Training Participants
The minimum number of participants required in order to accomplish a Training shall be 6 participants, unless otherwise provided for. In case such minimum number of participants is not reached, SICK MAIHAK shall reserve the right to cancel the according Training.

Accommodation
Upon the participants’ request SICK MAIHAK is ready to make room reservations on behalf of participants. Invoices for hotel rooms shall be settled by participants themselves on departure day.

Cancellation
Before the start of a Training, each Training participant shall be entitled to name an alternative participant providing his or her name and address. Such change of registration shall be cost-free.
Cancellation declared until 21 days before the start of a Training at the latest shall be cost-free, too. In case of a cancellation between the 20th and 5th day before the start of a Training, the according participant shall be charged 50 % of the Training fees. In case of cancellation declared from the 4th day prior to the start of a Training participant shall be charged the full Training fees.

Certificate
Upon the completion of a Training each participant shall receive a certificate on the Training participation.

Services
Unless otherwise provided for in the Training description, Training fees include soft drinks, snacks and Training materials; in case of full-time Trainings, fees shall include also lunch. Expenditures related to accommodation and travelling costs shall be borne by participants themselves.

Liability
Claims for damages vis-à-vis SICK MAIHAK shall – for whatever legal cause – be excluded, in particular in case of loss of clothes or any objects of value. Such provision shall not apply in case of intent, gross negligence, culpable infringement of essential contract obligations, culpable violation of life, body and health, and/or if statutorily provided for by the Product Liability Act.

Miscellaneous
This Terms and Conditions shall be subject to German law exclusively. The place of jurisdiction shall be Waldkirch/Germany.
